What’s going on at Camp Nou?
Camp Nou is in the middle of a huge renovation project. The goal is to turn it into one of the most advanced and impressive stadiums in the world. They’re upgrading everything, adding a roof, boosting the seating capacity to 105,000, and modernizing the entire structure. It’s part of the larger Espai Barça redevelopment plan.
This is exciting for fans, but it means the stadium is closed to visitors for now.
When will Camp Nou reopen?
The original reopening was planned for November 2024, but due to delays, the stadium won’t reopen until at least October 2025. The Camp Nou renovation completion date is expected to be completed by summer 2026.
So, no match-day visits at Camp Nou for now, but there’s still a lot for Barça fans to enjoy!
What can you visit instead?
Even though the stadium is closed, you can still visit two great spots nearby:
- FC Barcelona Museum
- FC Barcelona Official Shop
